One of the most interesting attractions was Emeril Lagasse’s Chop House he opened as his third restaurant on the Las Vegas Sands property. On Friday this place was crowded, everybody wanted to see the chef, who made “bam” a household word.

There was even a couple, Ann and Philip Monesmith, that won a meet and greet dinner at Emeril’s new restaurant. The Monesmith enjoyed their evening a lot, because Emeril Lagasse was very nice to them and always came to check on his guests if they were enjoying the meal and the whole evening.

Every time Emeril came out from the kitchen, all those who were outside the restaurant, pressed their faces on the glass just to see the chef for a little while.

Monesmith, besides being a winner of this special dinner, is a poker player and he definitely assured to come back to the casino very often.

Sands Bethlehem Casino president, Robert DeSalvio, said that he expected many visitors in the future, because the casino has a quite good position. From New York City it’s just 90 minutes by car and about an hour from Philadelphia.
